Dan Wagner Window Cleaning

Fully Insured

Since 1986

Satisfaction Guaranteed

I started cleaning windows in 1986 with $20 worth of equipment and a VW Beetle. The "upgrades" came slowly but surely, and with seriousness, dedication and an insistence on quality, I am now engaged in window cleaning full-time with help. I am always looking to new technology and advice from other professionals and am a proud member of the AUWC with an aim to improving the final product to you, the customer.

We service Wayne, Pike, Lackawanna, Susquehanna and Monroe counties in PA and Sullivan county in NY.

Most of our accounts are serviced every two weeks. We can visit more of less often. Usually we operate under a verbal agreement, but contracts are available.

It is the high quality, the reliability and the value that make us the window cleaning choice for well over 150 businesses, some for over 20 years without missing a beat!

We service Wayne, Pike, Lackawanna, Susquehanna and Monroe counties in PA and Sullivan county in NY. On occasion we may travel further depending on availability and if size of job makes it feasible.

When at your home we can clean your windows inside and/or out as well as screens, chandeliers, gutters and construction cleanup. We also can change hard to reach light bulbs and batteries. If you foresee the need for any of these services beyond basic window cleaning please notify us when making the original appointment.

Our excellent reputation with homeowners is not just because of our high quality work, but because of our care and respect for your property and the professional image we bring.

Residential

  • We want to make your experience when we visit as hassle and stress free as possible. Please feel free to remove any items from or near the windows that you would rather handle or that you are concerned may be damaged. Either way, we are willing to move what is necessary to clean your windows safely and effectively. If there is an excessive amount of furniture and item moving that we must do we may need to add a charge for this.
  • We will protect floors and furniture nearby the work space with sheets and/or large towels.
  • We will determine if you would like us to take off our footwear while inside your house or to wear "booties."
  • Please feel free to ask questions during the course of the visit and by all means point out if we missed something or left a mark or streak on a window.
  • We generally work from top floor to bottom, but please let us know if you would like us to clean in a specific area first to free you up for what you need to do.
  • If you are aware of plastic tint being present on the inside of any of your windows, please let us know and we will use a cleaning method that will not damage the tint.
  • Unless you specifically mention that you would like us to clean any plastic or plexiglass panels we will not do so.
  • If we are to clean the outsides of your windows and you will not be home at the time, please remember to either remove or loosen a corner of any screens that may be on the outer side of the window.
  • We often find items, sometimes glass or crystal, hanging on windows with suction cups. Because we can't guarantee the ability of the suction cups to work after putting them back up, we would prefer to leave them down.

Commercial

  • Among our objectives for our commercial customers is to provide peace of mind by on-time arrival and quiet and efficient execution of the service.

As you well know, your reputation is only as good as your final product and the timeliness in accomplishing it. We treat your customers as we do our own customers, knowing that they will likely want their windows cleaned in the future and ask you for our name. We are fully insured and will make every effort to accomodate your deadlines.

In our experience, we have found that it is best to call us well in advance, especially for service needed from April through November due to our very full schedule. Also it is to your advantage to schedule window and post-construction cleaning services after all cutting and sanding are completed.

There is an increasing concern pertaining to the safe and effective cleaning of new glass. It is the potential presence of fabricating debris. Several dilemmas arise when fabricating debris is present:

  • Proper use of a metal scraper has long been the industry standard for effective and efficient removal of foreign matter from uncoated window glass. When debris is dislodged by a scraper it can cause visible scratches when dragged along the glass.
  • Alternate methods of initial cleaning of glass are far more time consuming, resulting in higher costs to contractors; and certain chemicals can damage seals of the unit.
  • Leaving fabricating debris on the glass will probably just delay the inevitable: a homeowner or unsuspecting window cleaner later on scratching the glass.
  • We encourage you to completely cover all glass, inside and out, for the duration of the building project.

We are able to perform thorough cleaning of new and renovated buildings. For restoration of hard surface floors and carpets we can provide top notch referrals or use subcontractors.

There are often occasions where from the beginning or over time windows, screens or grills become difficult to work with. This may be due to manufacturing defect, poor design, materials wearing out or previous abuse. Damage to these items may sometimes occur from merely the normal act of handling these items. Please be cognizant of this fact, that breakage isn't necessarily a result of negligence on our part.

Besides window cleaning we do office cleaning, gutter cleaning, and post construction cleanup. Further services may be added in the future.
